May haulage companies hire truck drivers from non-EU countries?
Yes. Professional drivers from non-EU countries can work in Germany with the agreement of the Federal Employment Agency. The legal basis is Section 19c of the Residence Act in conjunction with Section 24a of the Employment Ordinance.
How is this different from temporary agency work?
With us, the employee is employed directly by you from the start. We place and support, we do not lease out staff.
Does the driver already need an EU driving licence and Code 95?
No. The driving licence and the basic qualification can be obtained in Germany during employment under Section 24a (2) of the Employment Ordinance. He must hold the right driving licence from his home country.
How good is the applicants' German?
That differs from applicant to applicant. You can see the level in the short profile. With our German course, applicants start preparing before they arrive.
Who takes care of the visa and the authorities?
We prepare the documents for the employment agency, the foreigners' office and the embassy, and we support the application. The authorities make the decision.
How long does it take until the first working day?
That depends on the profession, the home country and the embassy. We will tell you in a conversation what you can expect.
What does the placement cost?
That depends on the profession and the work involved. You receive a clear offer in advance.
Do you also place professions other than drivers?
Yes: warehouse and logistics, nursing, hospitality and catering. We are happy to look at other professions.
Where do you operate?
We place staff throughout Germany. Our office is in Oberhausen.
Is KRAFTARBEIT part of a haulage company?
No. KRAFTARBEIT Personalservice is an independent company.
